YAMAS

Our company which was established in 1996 has been produced sheet metal forming and machining parts until 2002. After 2002, YAMAS has started production of rubber-based vibration-damping parts with the strategy change. While initially producing rubber metal components for the front suspension systems of the vehicles, with the establishment of the R&D center YAMAS currently serves production of rubber-based noise and vibration-damping elements to all customers with design, analysis and testing support to complement other sector needs as well as the automotive industry.
Yamas carries out its activities in accordance with Turkish Environmental Legislation and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Standard. Yamas has been got the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Certificate since 2018.
Within the scope of the European Green Consensus, Yamas implements equality between men and women within the company and in the management staff, waste reduction activities and waste management, naturel source tracking and effective usage of natural resources.
Hazardous and non-hazardous waste data, water usage and wastewater amounts, electricity and natural gas consumption amounts, TEP (Ton Equivalent Petroleum) value, work/environmental accident, number of near miss notifications, female employee rate, accident frequency and accident severity rate are all determined as KPIs. And they follow up on a monthly basis.
Yamas manages The Green Transformation Production-Development project as a HOSHIN project within the scope of Yamas strategic targets.
Within the scope of R&D activities, “green rubber” development activities continue. It aims to contribute to the use of natural resources and recycling with long-lasting product design.
In addition, Yamas has built a new factory building in Teknosab Industrial Zone in accordance with the "green building" criteria and the factory will supply its electricity needs from solar energy. With the establishment of an advanced technology wastewater treatment plant, wastewater will be recovered and reused in internal processes. A rainwater storage system, feeding by rainwater collection lines, has been installed. In addition to the general ventilation systems, direct collection of immission and emissions will be generated by investments in local ventilation systems will be ensured.
With the respect of new investments, it is important for Yamas that, new machines and equipment that will be participated in our structure are to be compatible with environmentally friendly technology.
