Birinci traces its roots back to early 70’s, founded as a machine shop in İstanbul. In 1988 first investment on forging press took place and until today the capacity reached to 30,000 tons.

Birinci is one of the leading hot forged, machined and ready to assemble / fit parts components manufacturers for different sectors

In Kocaeli plant which has a 17km² closed (total 42km²) production site, Birinci employs 900  people and exports 50% of all products directly to Europe and North & South America. Company is being prepared to serve its customers with a total of 32,700 m2 closed area by completion of the additional facility investment in 2023 -2nd quarter in Kocaeli plant.

In order to expand its operations in global scale and to be closer to its customers , Birinci made two  acquistions in Germany (2018 and 2022 )  and launched sales office in USA (2020).

Birinci’s customer oriented, dynamic, flexible and responsive approach has allowed the company to serve their customers with ingenuity and flexibility and helped establish a track record of growth.

Birinci’s aim is to harmonise economical growth, social inclusion and environmental protection as three core elements while setting its strategies. Sustainability is an important and prioritised  topic for Birinci in order to  leave an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable world for the future .

Company has  several  activities in line with the targets related to reducing gas emmisions and energy consumptions and these studies can be summarised as following:

• Obtaining TS EN ISA 50001:2018 energy management certification  in 2022 ,
• Kicking of  ISO 14064-1:2018 Carbon Footprint Calculation activities
• Activities for transition to paperless factory,
• Investment decision on solar power plant to support its carbon zero strategy.
